From Narita

The Narita Express takes you directly from the airport to Yokohama Station (¥4,000 round trip with the N’EX TOKYO Round Trip Ticket, 89 minutes). There is also the Airport Limousine bus which shuttles passengers straight to Yokohama City Air Terminal, a bus terminal right next to Yokohama Station (¥3,600 one way, 90 minutes).

From Tokyo

The usual way to get to Yokohama from central Tokyo is with the Tokyu Toyoko Line. From Shibuya, jump on a limited express or express train. You can also catch this line from Ikebukuro or Shinjuku, where it starts out as the Fukutoshin Line. Coming from Tokyo Station, your fastest option is with one of the Japan Rail lines. The JR Yokosuka, JR Keihin-Tohoku and JR Shonan-Shinjuku lines also pass through Yokohama from various stations.

From Haneda

Take the Airport Express to Keikyu Kamata Station and change to the Keikyu Line to Yokohama Station (¥450 one way, 25 minutes). One in two trains go all the way through without stopping. The Keihin Kyuko Bus transfers passengers directly from the airport to Yokohama City Air Terminal (¥580 one way, 30 minutes). A taxi from Haneda to Yokohama Station costs around ¥11,000.

Getting Around

The International Stadium Yokohama is about a 14-minute walk from Shin-Yokohama Station. The main lines to know are the Blue Line (subway), and the JR Yokohama Line (overground) which both stop here. The rest of the time you’ll mostly be using the Minatomirai Line (subway) which stops at many of the city’s main points of interest.
